If you feel like there’s a holiday for everything these days, you’re not wrong. This week’s lineup apparently features International Hummus Day, National Chocolate Chip Day, and National No Dirty Dishes Day; but there’s another main event we’ll be celebrating: National Women’s Health Week.
From May 12–18, the Office on Women’s Health is urging women across the country to recommit to their reproductive health and wellbeing, and take the next steps toward a healthier you.
And if there’s one thing we’ve learned from our conversations with the LOLA community, it’s that so many of us have found it hard to find the right care, ask the right questions, and consult with the right people. In celebration of Women’s Health Week, LOLA is inviting our community to come together and discuss what we can do to feel more prepared and in control of our reproductive health — at every age.
We’ll be kicking off the week on Monday, May 13 with a conversation about menstrual equity at the Tia Clinic, a modern gynecology and wellness practice based in NYC. Throughout the week, we’ll share helpful facts and tips with our community on Instagram, and provide you with a safe space to ask thoughtful questions and share personal stories about your reproductive health.
Want to join the conversation? Take our short survey to share your own questions, advice, and experiences around your reproductive health. Follow along on Instagram as we recap the survey results in the week ahead.
