Founder of Sésé Doula Services
Nicole JeanBaptise is a certified full spectrum doula with over six years of experience in both hospital and home birth settings. In addition to being a mother of two, she is also a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), prenatal yoga instructor, and oral historian. Based in the Bronx borough of New York City, with Southern American and Caribbean ancestry, Nicole strives to center the Black experience in her work as a community-based doula and social justice activist. Most recently, she served on the COVID-19 Perinatal Taskforce for the NYC Department of Health in its Sexual and Reproductive Health Unit.
Nicole joined the LOLA Collective as an advocate in 2020. She is the founder of Sésé Doula Services and co-founder of the Bx (Re)Birth and Progress Collective, a mutual aid group providing material resources and affordable doula services to Bronx residents.
