Lauren Kornegay is the founder of ENDO Black, a platform designed to connect women of color affected by endometriosis. Diagnosed with the disorder at the age of 20, she struggled to find a support group where she felt represented. Through inclusivity and open dialogue, ENDO Black strives to foster endo-sisterly love and facilitate opportunities to advocate for women of color in all aspects of their reproductive health.
Lauren joined the LOLA Collective as an advocate in 2020. She hopes to demonstrate how endometriosis looks different on everyone, and raise awareness among doctors and medical professionals, so they can make proper diagnoses for women of color.
