I’ve been on birth control for two years and norethindrone (0.35 mg) for over a year, and everything seemed fine. But two weeks ago, I noticed my breasts were incredibly sore without having changed anything. They are painful to the touch and I can’t go without a bra because the movement while walking causes pain as well. It feels like they are bruised even though they look fine. Is this normal or do I need to consider contacting my doctor?
Since this is a new symptom for you that is causing you a lot of discomfort and hasn’t happened in the past, it would be best to contact your doctor to make sure that your hormone dosing is still appropriate for you. This can be normal, but again, best to discuss with your doctor as some changes may be warranted.
