I’ve been on oral BC for 10 years with one short period of time being off of it. I’m at the point where I’m done with it. What can I expect as far as my body changing?
Yes, normally after stopping your birth control the hormones from your birth control leave your body and your own hormones start to balance out to regulate your menstrual cycle. Typically it can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks for your period to return. Research shows that within a year after stopping your form of birth control, 80 percent of women who are trying to conceive will get pregnant.
