Today is the 13th day of my cycle and I haven't ovulated yet. Can I still get pregnant this month?
Absolutely! Some people ovulate later than the “average” day (Day 14) and some ovulate earlier. If you are measuring ovulation with ovulation predictor kits (OPKs), this is only a prediction of ovulation based on luteinizing hormone (LH) that rises before the egg is released. OPKs are not a confirmation that ovulation absolutely happened. OPKs also have a 10-15% false negative rate too so, even if you get a negative, you can still ovulate. There is no 1 perfect test to measure ovulation. I usually recommend a few different things used together to help you measure this pattern over time.
