My vagina burns both during and after sex. What should I do?

There could be a few things going on here, but definitely an important discussion to have with your doctor. You could have burning due to friction if the tissue is dry, and/or you could also have a vaginitis infection, most commonly bacterial vaginosis or candida. Most importantly, you shouldn’t have this burning sensation with sex and there are great treatments and solutions, so don’t hold back from discussing this with your doctor.
