My periods are becoming more frequent ... like 23 days in between ... should I be concerned? I’m 38 years old. Thank you!
Just as your body and mind may evolve and change over time, your period does too! In most individuals, these changes are tied to age-related fluctuations in your hormones. Normal period cycles can be as short as 21 days, and as long as 35-40 days. If your period comes with regularity, and you are not experiencing excessive pain, bleeding, or mood changes, then this change is probably not something to worry about. Despite this, it is still a good idea to check in with your doctor to review your case to ensure you cover all the bases!
