I’m 29 and have experienced weight gain in recent years. The doctor checked my thyroid and said it seems to be fine. Is this just my body changing as I get older?

I’m 29 and have experienced weight gain in recent years. In my teens, I was always small, but I've continued gaining weight over time and I’m struggling to lose it! The doctor checked my thyroid and said it seems to be fine. Is this just my body changing as I get older?

Not necessarily! I would see if you can find a good functional or naturopathic medicine doctor that specializes in weight regulation as we have many other things to look at (it can be about something other than your thyroid). Getting older doesn’t automatically mean that you will gain weight.
