Sounds like you are describing the pelvic cramps that often happen with ovulation. Some people feel it more than others, and if you don’t feel it premenopausal it doesn’t necessarily mean you are not ovulating. If you are postmenopausal now and you are feeling pelvic cramps I recommend having that checked out with your primary care doctor or gynecologist. 

Sometimes feeling these symptoms can point towards possible endometriosis, fibroids or even gastrointestinal issues that are felt lower in the abdominal area and can be confused for pelvic cramping.
