After not having sex for 15 years and at 74 years old...is it possible to have sex now. My doctor said I have a short cervix.
Yes it is possible. A few things to consider are lubrication and sexual position. During menopause, the vaginal tissue does become dryer and this can cause discomfort when trying to have sex. I would suggest to use plenty of lubricant as this can help, especially with penetrative sex. Our pelvic anatomy can also change as our hormones chang, so sexual positions that felt ok ten years ago might feel different now. I would talk with your partner and experiment with different sexual positions in order for you to find the right fit for both of you.
