So I am 13 and I do a lot of sports and I am VERY new to this period stuff and I was wondering would this interfere with my sports bc I do cheer and track all year long?
It could interfere a bit, but typically not to the extent that you can’t keep doing what you love. This is a question that many menstruating women face throughout their lives, but there are ways to work around it. Typically, the first day or two of your period will be the heaviest and sometimes can be painful. This is a great day to rest if you can. You will also want to experiment with different menstrual products until you find your perfect solution for bleeding while active. Some women use a combination of tampon and a light pad on heaviest days and then either tampon or pad for the following.
