How common is it to get rashes during your period? The week leading up to and week of my period I get red, dry, itchy rashes around my eyes. Its only during my period, when it's done the rashes go away.
There are many reasons why one could have a rash, dry skin etc. But from what you are describing this sounds like it could be a rare rash that occurs in the two weeks after ovulation called “progesterone dermatitis”. This skin eruption is triggered by the increase in progesterone in the second half of your cycle. There are many ways to diagnose this and ways to treat it. I would speak with your primary care or gynecologist and work with a dermatologist to look further into this.
