I’m sorry you are experiencing these symptoms, I’m sure it’s uncomfortable. Depending on whether you had your ovaries removed in 2007 along with your hysterectomy, you could be in menopause. When in menopause, our estrogen and progesterone levels drop and the lack of estrogen can make our vaginal tissue dry and easily irritated. This can be exacerbated after sex and your vaginal tissue can have micro tears from being dry. These tiny tears can give the overall sense of feeling inflamed, and could cause pelvic and bladder pressure. This could make you feel like you need to urinate frequently right after having sex.
